I have succumbed to the delivery conveniences of NYC. I first weakened when I bought a bunch of stuff at Bed, Bath & Beyond for my new West Village sublet. $15 delivery fee and I don’t have to schlep all this stuff across town and then up three flights of stairs? Sign me up! When I was patiently waiting during my 3 hour delivery window (of which they arrived at the very last minute), I became hungry and began perusing the stack of menus that the previous tenant left.
